Well I ran in this yesterday, didn't do too bad but didn't do great either. I'm in the small schools varsity as a Freshman, because we have a very small team. I finished with a 25:51 through 3.1 miles. The second mile was the hardest part because the run through the forest is almost completely in sand. It's like running through a beach.
But my one question/concern that I have is that, when I got my edition of (I believe the Mickey Monitor) I remember it saying something about the new Mount Mickey coming to the track next year. Now hearing all the announcements about it yesterday I was expecting something very cool. It was about 6 feet tall with dirt walls and artificial grass. Needless to say, it was not cool at all. I had a lot of fun in the meet but was expecting something a little bit more exciting in the hill. Oh well just thought I'd sort of let you know.
