We have reached the Sweet 16 of our tournament, eliminating 48 competitors along the way. There have been some surprises so far with one of the #1 seeds losing in the second round. There should be some very interesting battles in this round as we enter the more serious rounds of the tournament. Will one of the powerhouses sweep away the competition or could one of the surprise teams upset the field? We will found out starting with our Sweet 16 match-ups.
For this round, the first counter-service eatery to receive (25) votes or the place with the most votes after 48 hours has passed from the time of the start of each set will be the winner. You are voting for which place in each set of matches you like better taking into consideration overall quality, atmosphere, experience, etc. So, you are voting for four places (one in each set) and please feel free to comment or discuss why you voted that way as these threads are in the discussion forum. You may place your votes in the poll and/or write them out though I would prefer everyone vote by means of the poll. This set of matches is the first set out of two third round sets. You are voting for one counter-service place in each match (4 total). Obviously, if you have not been to all the places, then only vote for the places you have experienced if you like. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop (Downtown Disney) vs. Aloha Isle (Magic Kingdom)
(Ghirardelli has defeated El Pirata 26-13 and World Premiere Food Court 33-6 while Aloha Isle has defeated Cookes of Dublin 31-5 and Auntie Gravity's 21-13).
