WDW Air Force Flyover

What time did this happen? We were walking out the back gate of Epcot at about 12:30 when the anouncer comes on and says the Thunderbirds are flying over in just a few minutes. We had a plane to catch and couldn't hang around. Went through the Beach Club and to car in lot. Kept looking around hopefully but never saw anything.

The previous night, we got a voice mail from the Beach Club telling us something exciting was going to happen in the skys the next day. Be sure to look up.

Yeah, but they lost MKT's address :p

Weapons of war eh, I do not recall seeing the nice assortment of under-wing arms in those pictures. Now if a fully loaded Raptor flew over. . .

Change in the Avatar to honor our Air Force friends.

Well a fully loaded raptor you wouldn't see anything but the plane anyway remember stealth? all weapons inside the air plane..

but a f 16 model d fully loaded now your talking the f35 and f22 are both stealthy so outside weapons all stored inside the airplane.

Sorry, Must be suffering from a brain cloud.

One of my favorite post 9/11 posters was from Boeing. In response to the terroists using Boeing planes, the poster introduced the terrorists to the other Boeing products. Each one was loaded to bear. The F15 and F-18 leading the way. Good stuff.

Right you are. I remember them alternating years at the Chicago Air & Water Show.

I would have loved to have seen this at WDW. LOVE the MK shot with everybody's cameras up in the air.

They were together at the Dayton Air Show in the summer of 2004 celebrating 100 years of flight. It was very cool to see them both perform at the same show on the same day.

The Thunderbirds have the higher aircraft performance in the F-16, but I thought the Blue Angels were slightly better in terms of show performance.

I missed them at WDW by only of couple of days. :(

That Dayton Airshow was a great one. They also had the Canadian team there that year. That was also the first time I saw a couple of P-51 Mustangs flying in formation with an F-15. Pretty sweet.
