Anyone know the font Disney uses on the "Name" part? Disneydata, My guess is you know judging by your avatar.

:lol: I ordered one without my college on it 2 weeks into the CP. I'm not sure how I feel about these nametags. They're not my fave. I loved mine...the "Where the Magic Lives" nametag. Although it could be jealousy disguised as dislike, since odds are I won't be getting one. :lookaroun

I know the hometown is a tradition, but I get annoyed when I have to constantly explain where Casselberry is and that I do not live there anymore. Those aren't from FL think I must still live there and those that are from this area think I still live there too and that I must be silly for wanting to live closer.
But the new nametag is pretty cool, I will miss my Tinkerbell since it means a lot to be... long story.

Wow!...so I guess when I move down this summer (June) and get my job thats what my tag will look like... i too was looking forward to having my hometown on the nametag but at least these look nice... im excited about being a CM... can't wait! Now I just gotta get my butt down there and do my interview!

I won't know what I get till I go through with my interview in June since im not going to be in the CP and am just moving down to be a fulltime CM after I graduate... my first pick though is Operations... I would also love greeter, attractions,monorails, and resort front desk... we'll have to see exactly what I get.. maybe ill see you there!

The new 50th nametags for Disneyland don't look anything like the WDW version.
The Disneyland 50th version is bronze, with gold highlights, to replicate the original bronze nametags from the 1950's. It has the big Disneyland logo with the classic script from 1955 to 2000, not the 2001-2004 Paul Pressler logo that no one liked and was ditched officially last year.
At the bottom of the nametag they will have a "Class of ----" line. It will have the year the CM hired in, like "Class of 2002", etc. That should be cool because I have recently spoken with several older CM's at Disneyland who have worked there since the late 50's or early 60's. It will be neat to see a CM nametag that says "Bill - Class of 1961", etc.

Good luck. It just took me 3 and a 1/2 months to get a full-time role after my college program.-SIR- said:
