wdimagic.com gone??

Does anybody know what happened to wdimagic.com? I was really looking forward to the 50th birthday stuff that was gonna be on there. Yeah, does anybody know what happened or why it's down and if it's gone for good?

a company hijacked their domain. They are depserately trying to get it back

You can still access the site thru its ip. address, but im not sure what it is.

Hmm. While you can't get to it, the weird thing is, their stats tracker (that's on the front page when it's there) shows that were 3 hits from Google yesterday.

That same compay has hijacked MANY domains in the past..and not one person has EVER gotten it back...

...its gone forever...



...as for how one would DO that..its sad to say..but its not that difficult...

Maybe they are logging on from the direct IP adress of the page?

They can't take legal action on them for that? I mean, they basically stole something that belonged to them. Thats wrong.

I hate that "Ultimate Search" company. Their pages pop up everywhere............theyre not even useful.

nooooooot quite....sites like microsoft actually have full ownership over their domain...usually when it gets jacked its cuz someone doesnt completly OWN it (although they think they do)....

True, but the last search was for 'wdimagic.com'. That doesn't bring up the IP on Google.
