Waterway Fill-In Dates?

Obviously one of the essential pieces of design and flow in the expansion is the presence of the flowing water along the Fantasy Forest / Ariel area. I'm expecting that the water effects would appear at the same time between the falls at Beasts Castle and Ariels Adventure as they seem to feed into the same body in all of concept art sketches.

Does anyone know what time we can begin expected these effects to be added?

I think it will all depend on the timeline. Looks like right now they are shooting for late fall/early winter. I would think they would want to have the water up and running a few weeks prior to testing the attractions. So I am going to guess sometime in September.

Those waterfall features are actually one of the aspects of this expansion I'm looking forward to most.....I think its going to look amazing. I hope it will be running by the 21st of September as I will be there for the Halloween party.

There will likely be leaks in the water features that will require Disney to discontinue all water effects in the FLE.

Plus we know that the waterfalls cannot be run because the water would be overhead and overhead effects are forbidden without safety nets in place.

I for one cant wait for the waterfalls to go. I hope they have some really cool back lighting for night time. I was thinking about canada's wonderland and they have a awesome mountain with water falls it is very disneyish I have always loved going there. Rumor has it disney thought about building up there but the weather is terrible.
offtopic (i wish we could moderate the threads we start... especially ones where it is like "test track updates" and they start complaining about the princesses... i would love to delete those posts myself and keep my topic to the point) :)

I read somewhere that the waterfalls have been tested, it was posted by somebody that said they worked for Disney. It is possible areas could be opened ahead of schedule. I guess I can only hope!

I'm hoping they bring some of the walls down before the attractions/restaurants are 100% ready (once it's down to finalizing interior spaces, minus the Mine Train). I'm really curious to see how they've dressed up the area, the transitioning from Belle's village to the Sea-side to Circus, and how these water features come together.

I even hope once the castle wall's completed, that serves as the new construction barricade...

Well this thread is destined to be a short thread anyway just by the mere title of it. As soon as someone gives a date....thread dies....why not start a conversation?

Now that you mention that aspect of the water, I'm really looking forward to seeing if they will make any special changes for nightly presentation. There are multiple possibilities like if they would just keep the water backlighted with a white/blue or if they would sync the color changes of Cinderella's Castle per say to the water of Fantasyland behind it

I don't know that the "Little Mermaid" and the "Beauty and the Beast" waterfalls run together, but the BatB waterfalls run under the "Be Our Gust" bridge, the lager "Gaston's Tavern/Village" bridge, and are supposed to empty out in to the Mine Train area. I've been wondering how, or if, they're going to make the BatB waterfalls work while the Mine Train is under construction

Ughh, talk about how much of a bummer that would be. Having to wait until the Mine Coaster is up and near opening to get the full water effects going. With the expected opening of the majority of Fantasyland being later this year, it would be a painstaking wait until 2014 to see the water.

I believe I heard somewhere that the point where water is re-circulated is under the second bridge, so it would not be directly effected by the Mine Train.

Yeah I know when they paint Cinderella's Castle, there are ways of sectioning off the moat from the rest of the hub and Adventureland, so I guess they could do the same with Mine Train, and if that big bridge is the point where it re-circulates I guess they could make the waterfall work before the Mine Train is finished. I just couldn't figure out how they were going to constantly run water into that little pond without it eventually getting messy.

Yeah, I am sure they can make it "look" like it flows into Mine Train, kind of like how they have it at AKL, I'd imagine?
