Anyone have a favorite comfortable, waterproof shoe for men? DH is not a fan of traditional crocs.
I second the Olukais. Can be a bit expensive, but super comfortable. Sole doesn't leave black marks everywhere. Great arch support for a flip flop, and it holds up.Anyone have a favorite comfortable, waterproof shoe for men? DH is not a fan of traditional crocs.
Honestly, I've kept the birks out of the rain/water (I opted for the leather) but man, they're definitely comfy! Given that it's the oiled leather, I actually wouldn't be that upset if they did get caught in the rain, I just would prefer to wear something that's a little less "strappy" when wet. I'm definitely got my eyes on the Kipe'a Olu slides (they'd stay on my feet much better)--they look very comfy and I'm giving a good look to some of the sneakers they have as well! I have several pair of Ecco sneakers and the OluKai sneakers look just as comfy! How do your Birks do in the rain? I've heard bad things so I'm careful to keep them dry, but I love them and wear Arizonas to fly and Bostons as slippers. I have no idea why, but they don't get stinky for me at all, but Keens get nasty.
The OluKai Ohanas are like Crocs material with a Birkenstock arch in flip flop form. Heaven for poolside.
I wore my oiled Bostons out to get the mail in the snow the first day I had them, and they've had the coolest snowflake speckle stains ever since.Given that it's the oiled leather, I actually wouldn't be that upset if they did get caught in the rain, I just would prefer to wear something that's a little less "strappy" when wet.
