How do your Birks do in the rain? I've heard bad things so I'm careful to keep them dry, but I love them and wear Arizonas to fly and Bostons as slippers. I have no idea why, but they don't get stinky for me at all, but Keens get nasty.

The OluKai Ohanas are like Crocs material with a Birkenstock arch in flip flop form. Heaven for poolside.
Honestly, I've kept the birks out of the rain/water (I opted for the leather) but man, they're definitely comfy! Given that it's the oiled leather, I actually wouldn't be that upset if they did get caught in the rain, I just would prefer to wear something that's a little less "strappy" when wet. I'm definitely got my eyes on the Kipe'a Olu slides (they'd stay on my feet much better)--they look very comfy and I'm giving a good look to some of the sneakers they have as well! I have several pair of Ecco sneakers and the OluKai sneakers look just as comfy!

I wore my oiled Bostons out to get the mail in the snow the first day I had them, and they've had the coolest snowflake speckle stains ever since.
