Water Parks and No Expiration add-ons; good deal or not???

We love the WDW-Magic website and love all the posts and great advice provided by the members. We are returning to WDW for 9 days in October.
We have a few questions for our trip:
1) we think we may enjoy going to one of the water parks as well as Disney Quest and mini-golf but we will most likely only go to each place one time each during our stay - is adding the water parks for the entire trip worth it or should we just pay as we go?
2) my son's baseball team is playing in a Disney tournament at ESPN Dec 28-Jan 2 and we will most likely go to the parks 2-3 times during this stay. We know it will be crazy packed but thought we would still like to go and look at the decorations. The question is this; should we add the "No Expiration" add-on to our tickets and buy 2-3 additional days to our current 9 day purchase in October for a 12 day no expiration ticket?
As always - thank you!!!

The most days you can purchase is 10 days. More than that is an annual pass. As for the waterparks and more, one trip to the waterpark and it has paid for itself. One day pass is like $50 and to do the add on is basically the same price. Same for DisneyQuest.

Maximum ticket is 10 days.

9-day hopper ticket: $388
3-day hopper ticket: $321
Total: $709

Annual Pass: $609

Consider an Annual Pass and booking a "free" third vacation sometime before the following October.

A Premium Annual Pass includes the water parks and DisneyQuest and costs $729.
