Water Park Question??

My family is going to the water parks a couple of times during our stay. Do we need to bring beach towels? If Disney supplies them while you are at the WP, can you take them back to the resort with you? Trying to decide whether I need to bring a change of clothes for my kids or just put their cover-ups back on? Don't want them cold on the buses! Thanks!!! Also if this is in the wrong forum, I apologize!

:-)

There are towels available at the water parks for rent. You wouldn't be able to take them back with you. They have complete dressing areas with showers and even blow dryers, so that you can dress to head out to the parks or to dinner. I would suggest taking a change of clothes for the kids, or as you stated, at least bringing their coverups for them to put on for the ride. Good Luck and hope you have a wonderful vacation!!

We always bring a beach towel to the waterparks as their is a cost to rent them while you are there. But yes, you can bring them from your resort if you like. I feel like that is what may people tend to do b/c you see a sea of white towels on chairs. bringing a beach towel from home also allows you to find your chairs much easier in my opinion. We also don't usually bring a change of clothes either. I usually have a DS get out of the water about 10-20 minutes before we actually leave so we have time to dry off.

If you are staying on site..You are allowed to take your towels from the resort pool and pop them in the towel bin at either TY or BB before leaving the water parks..;)

My kids we let buy a beach towel each trip. It was used the whole trip and a souvenir. My DH and I took pool towels with us from our moderate resort, put them in their towel return bin on the way out. I'd change. The changing houses are nice, large, crowded at close so plan.

We bring cheap flipflops. Like the above poster said the ground can get hot as does the sand during the real hot season. We'd leave flip flops in the closest seating area or by close bench.

Usually took food from POR food court. We have a smooshable insulated bag that we pack in our suitcases and we toss in a couple bags of ice from the resort. I'm not a fan of water park food and it is pricey. We'd pick up sandwiches, fruit, chips and bring pop and water in our insulated bag. Easier than lines at the waterpark. POR QS food was just better and more convenient.

I bring a beach towel to the resort pool as well just so my chair sticks out. I had someone lay in my chair thinking it was theirs because everything looked the same. I still bring the white one from the room to dry off though so I don't have to wash my towel before packing it to go home.

Great minds think alike! I do that same thing!

The towels they rent are towel sized, not beach towel sized. The cost is $2/day per towel. You are supposed to return them before you leave. You could bring towels from your room to the water park. :)

The advice to wear water shoes was good advice. :)
