hey guys i am headed to the world on Tuesday and had a water park question. ive been to the water parks, but i was wondering, do you need two single tickets go visit both in one day, or can you use your ticket to get into both . the reason is a friend wants to visit both but is only coming for the day.
thanks for the help :)

Each water parks and more attraction uses one admission per day. If you go to both water parks and Disney Quest on the same day, that's three admissions used. Doesn't matter whether your ticket is a hopper or not.

You can exit and return to the same park as many times as you like on the same day.

How many park visits do I get with the Water Park Fun & More Option?

Adding the Water Park Fun & More Option to a Magic Your Way Base Ticket entitles you to visit any one of the following:

•Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
•Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
•Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course
•DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park
•ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

The number of visits included with the Water Park Fun & More Option varies depending on the number of theme park days purchased with your Magic Your Way Ticket. Use the following guide to determine how many visits you receive when you add the Water Park Fun & More Option to a Magic Your Way Base Ticket:

Magic Your Way Base Ticket Water Park Fun & More Option

1-Day 2 Visits

2-Day 2 Visits

3-Day 3 Visits

4-Day 4 Visits

5-Day 5 Visits

6-Day 6 Visits

7-Day 7 Visits

8-Day 8 Visits

9-Day 9 Visits

10-Day 10 Visits

Please note, visiting multiple venues in the same day will use one Water Park Fun & More entitlement for each venue visited. For example, if you visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in the morning and DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park in the evening, you will use 2 visits from your Magic Your Way Ticket.

Buy I day Magic your way base ticket..you get to visits with the waterpark and more option

water park annual pass?

If you have to purchase seperate tickets for each water park maybe a water park annual pass would be a better option if your friend would be able to use it any other time during the year. We are buying them for our upcoming trip. I don't see them anymore on Disney's website but I have called Disney and they do sell them and they are about $100 each and can be purchased over the phone.
For us it worked better to go this way since we have AP's than paying more to upgrade to Premium AP's with the time left on our AP's this year. Have fun!

My friend and I went for 2 days, got the tickets on Craigslist. They were hopper passes and got them for a really good deal too. Only thing I would add is that you CAN visit a main park and a water park in the same day -no hopper required, but you will use one park entrance and one water park entrance. Hoppers only refer to the ability (or not) to enter more than one of the 4 main parks in a day. You can use the Thrill Hopper ticket from 18 March – 31 October 2012 with a single ticket priced at £47.50 per person or a family ticket, (2 adults & 2 children) for £142.50 approx.

With the Water Park & More Option you get unlimited access to the parks and water parks for the duration of your ticket.

That is, you buy days of access, not number of access tickets.

Not on MYW tickets purchased at WDW. I think that may be the case for tickets purchased in the UK.

A hopper ticket provides up to 10 days' admissions to the 4 main parks that can be used any time within 14 days of first use [unless you purchase the No Expiry option]. WP&M option adds a fixed number of water park/Disney quest admissions based on the number of days on the MYW ticket.

1-Day 2 Visits

2-Day 2 Visits

3-Day 3 Visits

4-Day 4 Visits

5-Day 5 Visits

6-Day 6 Visits

7-Day 7 Visits

8-Day 8 Visits

9-Day 9 Visits

10-Day 10 Visits
