water park help

hey everyone,

i did a search and couldn't really find what i was looking for. we are going the end of april and need know about crowd levels. also, we have never really gone to the parks, so how long do you usually spend at each one (we plan on going to both). last time we wnt it rained around noon and we never ended up going back. oh, we want to go on most of the "rides." any help is much appreciated.

Crowd levels aren't to bad at the end of April. At both water parks you will want to get there before the park opens to stake out a good shady spot and avoid the majority of the crowds. Oddly enough rain is usually a blessing in disguise. For some reason whenever the water parks temporally close for lightning every one clears out but the park will usually open back up in less than an hour. So if you wait it out you are left with a deserted park and little to no wait times on the slides.

if you can go the third week of april, that would be great for you. we go that time every year. never had to wait for anything.

Crowds in April depend upon when Easter falls - Easter Sunday is April 16th next year, so if you go after the 23rd there should be very little in the way of crowds

Make sure you go to Blizzard Beach. It is so much fun :wave: but get there early!

A couple of good tips I heard are:

Go to the waterparks in the begining of the week, like a Monday or Tuesday, because a lot of people do the 4 main parks first, at the begining of the week and save the water parks for last.

Also, I heard that a good time to visit the waterparks is in the late afternoon, because most people will go there first thing in the morning and then move on to one of the other parks after lunch.

i went in the last week of march and i went to both water parks we spent a whole day in each and the crowds weren't bad we didn't get there till 10 or 11 and still had no problem if you have kids get the lunch that comes with the bucket and pail my kids still have there's and it's free they played with them at the wave pool for awhile.
