Water Park Add-on Question

Ok, I feel like a loser asking this question but we've never done water parks there so I guess it is justified. I also searched the threads already and found no answer to my specific question...That being said,

We're going to Disney in April w 5-Day Base tickets but want to try out the water parks. We buy the add-on, I understand that. But just tell me exactly what it gives us...

Simply the option to visit a water park on one of our 5 days?

Or 5 separate admissions into the water parks that don't count as a regular park visit?

For example, if we visit 3 regular parks and two water parks (no park hopping, just one park per day), does that mean that our ticket is used up or does it mean we still have 2 regular park admissions and 3 water park admissions left?

Thanks guys, I know I can count on you!! *thumbs up*

The bolded one. If you buy a 5 day base ticket then purchase the water parks and more option, you will have 5 days of admission to one of the 4 major theme parks, plus 5 admissions to the water parks or Disney Quest. So you could go to Typhoon Lagoon for the day, the go to Epcot at night. That would use 1 day from your base ticket and 1 water park admission.

The Water Park & More option is really useful. We like to visit a water park in the morning, take a break in the afternoon, then tour one of the major parks in the evening.

The main advantage to scheduling this way is that you can hit the water parks or Disney Quest right when they open, but stay out late each night at the major parks.

If you'd only be doing one visit to a water park, it's about $10 cheaper (or about $15 if you go through a ticket reseller) to buy a 1-day water park ticket rather than paying for the Water Parks & More option. (And the savings are even more for a Child ticket, because adults and children pay the same price for the WP&M option, but there's a cheaper Child admission for the water parks)

The Water Parks & More option in only a better deal if you go to the water parks more than once, or if you'll be going to Disney Quest.
Or if you're buying the No Expiration option, because the WP&M admissions wouldn't expire either.
