I think they call it Rivers of America at WDW. but anyway. Would there be any way that the Water Pagent could go into the Rivers of America and do a nightime show after or before spectromagic or something? I think it connects to the lake some way.Would this be a good idea? let me know!

Well, I guess it would be theoretically possible...Disneyland's Fantasmic is set up in a similar way, and the Rivers of America and the Water Pagent storage area definately connect. As to whether it would be a good idea...eh, probably not. It'd be rough for guests who wanted to see the EWP in Frontierland and then Spectro/Wishes from the Main Street area. Plus, three nighttime shows is a lot for a park. Also, unlike DL, WDW's Rivers of America area isn't engineered to handle large crowds. There would need to be some restructuring for crowd control purposes if this were to be put into place. Not necessarily a bad idea, I just don't think it would be the best thing to do.

anything to ensure walk on access to rides after dark gets my thumbs up

The Magic Kingdom really doesn't need any more evening entertainment. I like the idea of the show being something that you don't have to be in a park to enjoy. Keeping something there for the guests of the resorts isn't a bad thing.

There is no way to get the barges from the storage/staging area into the Rivers of America because of the swing bridge for the WDW Railroad. It takes upwards of 2 hours to move the bridge open and closed again.

Ah, indeed, the time necessary for the bridge to open is something I didn't think to factor in. I didn't know it took that long. And, I agree that the EWP is a great thing to have outside of the park.
