water filter and mosquito spray

I'm visiting Disney World at the end of the month and need to figure out how to accommodate some health issues I have. Basically, I need to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and certain triggers can send me into anaphylaxis. I've been visiting WDW for a very long time, but this is the first time my health issues have been so severe.

Does anyone know if Pur water filters will fit on the taps at the Beach Club?

Are there a lot of places where bug spray is available?

Do they let you bring silicon covered glass water bottles into the park?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
No glass containers are allowed in the parks or by resort pools etc. It would have to be a full plastic container or bottle. :)

I wouldn't count on being able to attach a water filter to the taps. Could you use one of these?

Agree with the PPs. No glass containers allowed in the parks. Get a Britta or Bobble water bottle.

Disney is currently supplying mosquito repellant in their guest rooms and in the parks. You can also buy it in the gift shops. Or bring your own.

I do wonder if people will now choose to not being their own.. The safe bet would be to bring it. I think the ones that Disney provides are a great supplement.

I'm sure some people, who have read that Disney is providing complimentary spray, will leave their own at home. I won't be one of them, though. Force of habit- for years I've always packed it when going to an area where mosquitoes could be a problem. I'm a magnet for them.

And guests who don't want to use sprays containing DEET should probably bring their own, too. Not sure if the resort shops carry those.

Side snark: I kind of snickered when I saw so many people applauding Disney for their thoughtfulness and philanthropy in providing the mosquito repellant free to their guests. 1. The only thoughtfulness was to their bottom line and wanting to prevent trip cancellations. 2. It was a "request" by the State of Florida to ALL theme parks to do this. 3. I highly doubt it's costing Disney much, if anything (I'm guessing state funding and reduced costs from the supplier in return for being the "Official Bug Spray" of WDW.) But it's good PR.

Thanks everyone. I have ridiculously severe allergies. If I eat/drink something from the wrong source it can send me into anaphylaxis. Unfortunately, this includes both the chlorinated water in the parks/some restaurants and water from a plastic water bottle. Especially if the bottle gets hot while I'm carrying it, which makes the water taste like plastic. Bug spray can also trigger an attack. The medications I carry in case I have an attack must be in glass bottles. I need to drink a lot of water (more than most people) to stay hydrated, since I get dehydrated easily...which can also cause an attack.

Sounds like I'm going to have to severely modify my plans while I'm there for Food & Wine. Just run over to Epcot quick to grab some food to bring back to the room. Or better yet send a family member to Epcot to get food while I stay out. I guess the days of being able to hang out in the parks all day are over. Sad, yes, but not worth risking an anaphylactic episode for a theme park.
