Water contaminated at Hollywood Studios?

I'm kinda surprised she would just come out and say they are contaminated. Normally as a frontline CM, you are instructed to give a more "magical" answer and hide the truth.
The simplest of which would be..."Sorry, they are currently working on the water lines". I do hope for the sake of that CM that no one from upper management hears them say that it's contaminated.

In all likelihood, with the construction going on, that the water lines have to be redirected. That could easily contaminate the water until they are completed and can flush out and disinfect the lines.

So uhhh... do we think this could have anything to do with the issue?

No. If it were, water usage would be shut down for nearly half the state.

As has been stated previously, the most likely cause was construction crews hitting a water line. When that happens the typically procedure is to put all connected locations on a boil water advisory until the lie has been patched and thoroughly flushed and disinfected. Since you can't exactly have guests boiling water after they pull it from a drinking fountain, they would be shut down.

I still figured it was construction, but I saw that story and just thought it was sort of coincidental.

It is just that...coincidental.

The amount of contaminated water that spilled into the aquifer is a drop in the bucket (pun intended;)) compared to the actual volume of the aquifer.

While it is a situation that will have to be monitored locally, it is the equivalent of putting a single drop of food coloring into the pool at the San Alfonso del Mar resort.

Jeez, you poop in one water fountain and all of a sudden they close them all and you're "trespassed" whatever that means.
