Watch your charges and track your dining credits!

Hey all!

Just wanted to remind everyone to make sure you keep track of your credit cards and dining credits when vacationing..

Due to a glitch in the app today I was charged a no show fee for an ADR I cancelled 3 months ago (with cancellation confirmed through email)

Also, last trip I sat down for my last dining reservation and they said I have no credits after scanning my band! I explained that i planned correctly and I should have one more ... Ended up that somewhere accidentally charged twice (they didn't say where)

Anway, just a reminder technology isn't always perfect. Both situations were fixed with no issues. Cast members were great .

Always pays to check. Last trip at Hollywood and Vine the server had a hard time getting the transaction to process due to poor wireless connectivity in H&V. Tried it again and it went through, but when we were checking later in the day we found they had charged us twice. Front desk at our resort fixed it in just a few minutes, but ALWAYS check. It should be easier now that you can access that info on MDE.
And make sure you keep ALL of your receipts until everything settles out at the end of your trip.

Keep all receipts until you reconcile your bill at checkout or with your credit card. After we returned from our trip last Christmas, we were emailed the detailed room charges which showed that our server at Via Napoli changed the amount of tip that we left. Keep in mind, we always tip 20% or above as well! It was only about $10 difference so I didn't call, but I will certainly be more vigilant from now on.

Omggg via napoli did that to me as well a year or so ago. I had the dining plan and I tipped cash and they charged $30 to my room. Loved the food but I won't go there again because of that.

we were at Disney a couple weeks ago. A few days into our trip we requested a print off of all our dining/snack credits etc. Things were not adding up right and when we looked into it we found our dining plan was deducted a dinner for two people that were apparantly dining at 50's prime time the same time we were but were not part of our party or at our table or anything. So we were coming up 2 adult credits short. They added them back in. Not sure if the other party ever had to pay for their meal or use credits or if they got a freebie there.

Wise advice for everyone.... Ever since they started using DDP we check our receipts every time its used and keep track of credits used and credits left. Disneys system isnt infallible and there have been times weve had to correct their mistakes.
