While gathering our backpack at the end of the safari ride our 2yr old had enough time to put his hand on the retractable door. SLAM, doors are opening.

Too late, down to 9 finger nails. Let that be a lesson to us I guess. :cry:

I'm sorry that happened. My brother did something similar when we were little.

A friend of mine used to be a JC skipper. After making multiple speils about keeping arms in the boat, one little kid decided to make a grab for the water right as they were docking...
Broke the kid's arm. Luckily, the parents recognized that the skipper was not at fault, and didn't try to get them in trouble.

Be careful of those gates in the waiting area of Rafikis Planet Watch. I've witnessed some over-zealous childrens fingers and hands getting smashed in there as well.
