I am in Florida for work, not too close, fort Myers, then Sarasota and bradenton setting up soon spring training box offices. It got me thinking, I will have a few hours that I would gladly spend at wdw but I cannot afford or justify paying for a single day hopper. Let's face it, they do not want single day visitors and its really sad. It got me thinking, was there ever an after 6 pass or anything like that?

I'm still making the drive and I'm at least going to downtown Disney and possible resort hopping but the option would be nice.

PS no one tell on me, I'm going to use the resort buses from dtd. :-)

I think convention ears still get after-4 tickets or some kind of evening thing.

They used to have a FR ticket for Epcot but I don't know if they still do that.

It is terribly expensive (around $100) for a one day ticket. I no longer offer to pay to take visitors over for a day or an evening (SSE, dinner, fireworks) at Epcot. It's just too much. If they decide they want to go badly enough to pony up $100, I'm happy to drive. :)

I not tell if you use resort busses, but you could just drive yourself to the hotels. I think it would be a lot easier. :)

I yeah over 130 if you want to visit more than one park.. Its so sad that all I want to do is walk around. I would drive but it's going to be a 2 hour drive to get there and I'd rather be driven :-)

There is an "Epcot after 4pm" annual pass but I don't know if it's only offered to FL residents or not.

According to my DS CM, you are correct. Florida.

I was given an opportunity to buy late tickets for just me for the National School Board convention, we got out of the Orlando Convention Center at 5pm but we had to pre order so I don't know how that was worked out behind the scenes.

I don't know about the AP, but day tickets are not limited to FL residents, speaking from personal experience. I got mine at the Epcot resort where I was attending a business meeting. My impression was that this ticket is not available at the park ticket offices but is maybe limited to sales at Epcot resorts. I could be mistaken.

edit: Doing a little more research, it seems this pass may be offered by certain conventions to attendees, so might not always be available.

Conventionear tickets are available only to conventionears. They do have time restraints, but are discounted. If your convention is through Disney, you might be a conventionear...check with whoever runs it. I don't think this is the OP's case, though.

The Epcot thing was FR only, but I don't even know if they're still doing it.

Good luck, OP.

That would be in line with what I was offered for my convention, you have a National Convention of School Board Members and their administrators Disney is going to want those attendees to come into their parks, eat, drink and be merry. We would not have done so on a whole if Disney didn't knock something off the price of admission. Yet, the price break is private, isn't out there at Guest Services or TTC slapping other Guests in the face.

Thank you. I'll just sit outside and look pathetic. Maybe someone will come among and have pity on me :)
haha, you could always just go to DTD. I know it's not the same, but at least it would give you a little "Disney". Or drive to one of the monorail resorts and watch Wishes from the dock/beach/bridge.

I agree! Sometimes its nice to just relax in DTD, stroll around the Boardwalk, or get dinner at a monorail resort and take in the sites and smell of WDW. The bonus to having dinner at one of the monorail resorts is that you can watch wishes and catch the Water Pageant. Also if you hang out at Hurrican Hanna's (Y&BCR) you could get a bit to eat maybe a drink or two then you can see the higher fireworks of IllumiNations in Epcot from the beach plus there may be a movie screening as well.

So I'm back from Florida... I made a few visits to DTD did some resort hoping but not much because the buses were awful. I also came down with a cold for my last few days so walking the parks would have been a bad time. Glad to be home but once I'm healthy again I'm going to want to be back in Florida.

Whenever I bought my FL PAP online, they still had the option for that.

You wouldn't be the first person to come to Orlando on business and end up going back for fun! Get well soon.
Thanks for the well wishes, I'm starting to feel better today, unfortunately I would prefer high 70s to 35 degrees and rain. Some day I will convince the wife to move there or at least closer.
