I discovered ERB when I was 12. I always hope the next screen incarnation will do justice to even the first book but I have given up hope. Now I can understand why Disney did what they did, especially for an animated movie. I think if anyone would attempt to capture the spirit of a Neal Adams/Boris Vallejo cover would find anyone but true fans against them and nothing would get filmed.

Could you just imagine them doing the bolgani scene? Then again, I'd would LOVE to see how they would show La of Opar.
