Was not crazy about The Art of Animation

They had us in the Little Mermaid area it was at least a 10 minutes walk maybe more to the main building and it seemed like every and I mean at every bus area the Art of Animation was the farthest away.

I think next time I will see if I can get a better hotel. May seem petty but you go to WDW at the end of a long day you really can not get into the walk.

Anybody just drive to the Theme parks ?

Uber to the parks is the way to go.

Even with less than 3. When I went with my mom and my sister in 2012, my sister insisted on one of the suites, because mom snored and she didn't want to be in the same room. I agreed, more because of the extra sleeping spots- as an adult, I refuse to share a bed. I would rather sleep on the floor. Blame my younger brother, because he was a chronic bed wetter, and if we weren't forced to share a bed already (like on trips), he'd crawl into my bed after he had an accident in his, kick me in the face, kick the blankets off the bed, and have another accident. I will not put up with even the slightest risk of that happening again if I can help it.

Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah. Adults can be fussy, and a room like the preferred rooms at AoA are often the only thing keeping a pleasant trip from devolving into bickering and petty outrage.

To me, if I have 4 people and am considering an AoA suite just to be closer to the resort's amenities, I'd switch to a mod or look into a DVC studio rental for the same cost. The AoA suites make little sense for a party of 4 or 5, unless you REALLY need a Nemo bathroom in your life.

Or if 3 of those 5 people are teens and the master bedroom/separate sleeping spaces and a 2nd bathroom are necessities. :D I can't imagine the 5 of us in a standard room or studio for 7 or 8 days...we need the space and extra bathroom that the suites offer. Or we need 2 rooms.

I have a question for you, when you reserved the room were you able to put in any type of room requests? I am at my check in window and when I go in to put in my room requests, it is just blank on the drop down? Did something change? How was it for you? Have you stayed at the All Stars before? or is this your first time with a value resort?

Yes, we stayed there in 2016 and specifically picked Lion King. I was able to do that at booking.
