was hoping to see some Horizons scenery on Spaceship Earth

Back in 2008 when I rode the new Spaceship Earth for the first time I was almost convinced that the ending scenery for Spaceship Earth would be modeled after Horizons. I was hoping to see at least the underwater colonies and the farm, even some stuff from the space scene as we started going down, was I the only one?

I think he's referring to the "Welcome to the Future" Touch screen boredom show as you decend since you are making your options similar to heading back at the end of Horizons..

All the elements on that screen show resemble all 3 communities on Horizons. That would be awesome to pass all 3 again. They could start with space and put that house where the giant video screen used to be, some underwater scenery where the peppers ghost was and then the Epcot city model where the former city was then add the ending music from Horizons. Back then when I was 16 the nerd in me was convinced I would at least see something be reused form Horizons. I still remember the screen show starting up and thinking thru out that dark empty tunnel that we just didn't get to the ending part yet. I will never forget that feeling when the cart turned around and we hit the loading dock after all that waiting.
