Might find ourselves strolling through the WS on a September evening, just in time for "dinner." Looking to not waste credits on the first things we see, as there are so many good things! Top 3 snacks or QS meal options, pleaseandthankyou?

Is Tangierine Cafe the Moroccan place?! I've been to WDW a grand total of once... in 2001. The ONLY thing I remember about that trip was the awesome Moroccan food in Epcot. As in, I thought it was just a dream. Yorkshire sounds like something DH would enjoy and the Katsura like something for the kids. Will be checking out thise menus tonight!

Japan is always a must-do on our trips, for both counter service and a snack. Katsura Grill is my favorite CS in all of Epcot. Their chicken teriyaki is delicious, and the actual location is super pretty and quiet. It's pushed back a bit from the hustle and bustle of the main walkway, with lots of trees and shade. It's probably one of the most relaxing spots on the whole property.

For a snack there, the shaved ice from the Kaki-Gori stand is so good. There's a choice of three different flavors, and it always serves as an instant cool-down. Love it.

It is! Tried it for the first time last year and was surprised! I went to Morocco's TS option a few years ago and didn't really enjoy myself. But Tangierine was fresh and wonderfully different from many WDW QS options.

Yorkshire is a delicious steal, and I need Katsura to satisfy my Asian food cravings on long trips. :D

We have 2 adults and 4 kids (4 adults if the GPs come with us)- are the kids' meals options around the WS just as "blah/meh" as they appear to be in the rest WDW? I'm thinking we might get a meal to pick at in one spot, a snack or two to share at the next, another meal to share further on... with 4 of those credits being for kids, just wondering if there are places with better options than others in that way?

Last time I was at Tangerine Cafe, most cities (let alone Tony Stark) had still not yet heard of Shawarma--
Chicken/lamb "flatbread" meatloaf, with a dab of yogurt sauce and hummus.
Haven't tried the new Spice Road tapas, but Tangerine is still the better Moroccan lunch, compared to the pricey sit-down with the belly dancers.

And then, outside of WS, there's just about anything healthy from Sunshine Seasons at The Land.

Pastries from Boulangerie Patisserie
Anything from KaramellKuche
Fish and Chips from Yorkshire fish and chips
The crepes at the cart across from France looked really good but I'm not sure if the price is worth it, might be worth a taste

Seems silly to rec this when so many unusual options are right on the other side of the lake, but honestly I think that oak-grilled rotisserie chicken is awesome. It had mashed potatoes last time I had it, now it's rice and beans but I'd still hook up. Cupcake or mousse cake or whoopie pie for dessert, you can just roll me out. And it cashes out at nearly 20 bucks which relatively speaking is a good value for a QS credit.

La Cava del Tequila does not take the DP. Bummer.

Can the lobster bisque be considered a snack at the Boulangerie? It's not listed as an "entree" and not sure how these things work...

If no separate kids' menu, I assume the kids can order anything...?

If you are doing the DDP, my understanding is a snack on the DDP is anything UNDER $5.00. Which is why the awesome caramel popcorn (not the stuff in the plastic bags, the fresh stuff) in the Dumbo tent is not a snack under DDP.

Snacks? Personally, I like to use mine for a rootbeer or coke float, which you can get at the ice cream shop just after entering Future World. You also have the option of using snack options on candy or things like that in the gift shops.

For quick service meals: Electric Umbrella or the downstairs food court over in The Land.

Is there somewhere I can verify this? Not that you're not honest or anything, I'd just like to confirm with my very own eyes, so I can start dreaming of all the side items that could stand for small meals... ;)

I love the cronuts at the Refreshment Port near the entrance of the WS (although they are named croissant doughnuts in the park)

I love a box of macarons (and almost any pastry or dessert) from Les Halles

The pumpkin spice funnel cake from the stand near The American Adventure

I also love the baklava from the Tangierine Cafe

Still haven't been to Katsura Grill in Japan, since the change--
I see on the menu they have Okonomiyaki (grilled omelet/pancakes) and Chicken Cutlet Pan, two things every anime fan who's never been to Akihabara has been dying to try. :)
Is the Pan just a western-style sandwich, though, or the native one-piece "pocket" style bread?
