I have seen mock ups of a movie about Walt Disney's life online and on Pinterest. They even have Ryan Gosling as the mock up who will play young Walt. I think this is a fantastic idea but has anyone heard or does anyone know about such thing really happening in the near future? I tried looking this up on google and some websites say it was a fake and some say "who knows?"

Personally, I have always thought about if this movie should get made or not. When you think about it's kind of a risky film to make. With any Bio-flick there is always a big debate on how well the person is portrayed by the filmmaker. Also you can't just make a fluffy piece when you're doing a movie about somebody's life. I am a huge fan of Walt, I've seen documentaries that talk about not only his successes but also very very tragic events in his life. The mark of a good biographical film is showing the dark times as well as the triumphant moments in the person's life. Being that this is Walt Disney obviously the film would have to be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. With that said, I'm not so sure that this movie is ready to be made yet. The studio could end up souring the reputation of it's namesake or suffer from being too "safe" with the content and cause an uproar from people who are "anti-Disney" or "anti-Walt". When I really think about it, it's a no-win situation for whoever wants to make the film. I personally would love to see it get made but I don't think it should happen anytime soon.
