Walt Disney World Ride Elimination Game

I'll change my vote to Dinosaur too, although I've always liked it. It seemed odd all along to include rides whose elimination is already officially in the works...it inevitably kind of skews the way we consider them. I guess Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is the only other one left that's in that bucket. (And most of us probably haven't tried the freshly updated Test Track, but that doesn't seem like as drastic a change as Dinosaur to Indy or Aerosmith to Muppets.)
DINOSAUR is still open as of now, it hasn't closed yet, as is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. They absolutely should be in this elimination game.

Another VERY close battle but in a close race with Small World, DINOSAUR has been eliminated and voted out! It is going extinct soon for good, I like DINOSAUR and find it one of the most underrated rides in all of Walt Disney World but.... with that said though, it's definitely NO Indiana Jones Adventure, and the ride has a lot of lacking, dead spaces of nothing throughout. The ride can feel very disjointed, chintzy and very hard to follow, the retheme is definitely due for this ride. I will for sure be sad to see it go, but I'm almost 100% positive it's Indiana Jones replacement will EASILY be a lot better than this. Vote for which WDW ride to be voted out next!

OK then, speaking of dinosaurs and countdowns to extinction, what about Aerosmith and the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster?

Really I'd rather lose Slinky Dog Dash, but since Disney has already made the decision for us (and one can't help being a bit excited for the Muppets overlay...lots of potential there, especially for an entertaining MV3D-style queue), maybe RNRC can go next.

It still seems slightly premature to axe IASW, which needn't crack the top 15 or even top 20, but I'd rather ride it than a few of the mediocre new attractions still on the board here. (I haven't heard Sherman's new verse, but I doubt it changes the ride experience enough to make a difference!)

Speaking for the defense: it's a bit of the '64 World's Fair along with Carousel of Progress; it's Walt all over; it's Mary Blair's masterpiece; the colors are gorgeous; there are moments of wit in the visuals when you look closely, as well as being more than the sum of its parts when you zoom out, like a vast elaborate cuckoo clock; all it's selling is a true and timeless reminder for nations to do right by the children of the world; the ride system and necessity of synchronizing around one song both led directly to Pirates; it's a boat ride that absorbs crowds with impressive efficiency. Hating it became a lame pop-culture cliche decades ago, to the point where all the dad-joke remarks you hear about how annoying the song is are actually more annoying than the song itself.

This game ultimately comes down to herding votes, so now that I've got some backup on Slinky Dog Dash (a nice kiddie coaster but a huge letdown after you've sweated out its average wait time), I'm happy to consolidate around that.
