Didn’t see that one, I talked to the guy at the perfect marathon and it sounded like they really got a great set of stuff this year for the 30th, he rattled off like 6 special items they were getting in their gift bags

I only ran into two perfect dopeys at bib pickup. They got the gift of missing bibs and an uncertain future

Here’s some of what the 59 perfect marathoners got (thank you Bioreconstruct!). According to the guy handing them out, in addition to the jacket and f*nny pack (is that really censored? ), they got a special challenge coin, a sash, and a couple of other things I can’t quite remember right now (maybe a pin and/or hat too?).

A lot better than the last two on-site (marathon) races for sure!! I think it was projecting to be 71F high for Sunday a couple days ago, now 73F. I hope the upward trend doesn’t continue up any higher than that. Ideally, I’d want the marathon and maybe the half to start around 40-45F with a high around 55ish, but I think cold weather benefits me more than most. I’ll just be thankful with anything less than the mid-80’s it peaked at on Sunday for 2020 and 2022!

Also, for the love of God, can the projected high temp for Sunday please stop going up, just a few days ago it was looking like a nice 70 degree day, now 78 projected for Bay Lake.

I know it’s an 80’s/90’s theme, but I’d prefer it if that didn’t apply to the weather

My sister finished her first WDW race & I cheered at the finish,also a first for me.

The 5K was fun today!

I have just received my 10K and Half medal.

I won’t touch my 10K until I earn it on Sunday. I’m on track to run the 5K and 10K this weekend. Waiting on another box for my 5K.

I have completed my second run in my 2023 Virtual Disney World Marathon Weekend.

Today, I completed the Virtual Walt Disney World 5K.

Time: 36:17
Pace: 11:39
Distance: 3.11

Not my fastest 5K (that record still goes to The Timeless Classic 5K which I completed in 34:29). Not a bad showing either though.

Tomorrow, I will run my last race for this race weekend. The 10K, I plan to take it a little easier tomorrow then I did today. Still at a decent race pace though.
