Boy Meets World-

In a desperate attempt to win back Topanga, Cory and Shawn follow a tour group down to the Walt Disney World Resort. They spend a night on Splash Mountain, and run into one of the girls from Step By Step who plays a trainer in the Living Seas. It ends with a beautiful shot in front of Epcot's fountain.

Cory finds himself in a predicament when he follows Topanga to Walt Disney World hoping to woo her, and she thinks his affections are directed toward another girl. Meanwhile, Eric covers for his lovelorn brother while he's away. An unabashed plug for the corporation that had recently bought the ABC network. (Smile: note the production number.)

Long time lurker... first time poster. Don't even have a good avatar yet. hehehe:confused:

Anyway, WDW was on a two park Family Matters.

Steve was in a science competition held at Innoventions. Karl and the family went down with him.

The family stays at Wilderness Lodge. Features great shots of various shots around the Magic Kingdon, and Epcot. Only ride I remember them specifically showing in any great detail was ToT at MGM.

If you've got digital cable or satelite TV, you can use the search function to search for Walt Disney World. Something usually turns up in a program's description.

Golden Girls

92 "Two Rode Together"

Sophia's friends are passing away one by one. As much as this disturbs Sophia, it disturbs Dorothy even more, who fears that her time with Sophia may be shorter than she thinks. To cheer her up, Rose tells Dorothy a fable about Toonder the Mediocre Tiger in the land of Flafluevenhaven. The fable spurs Dorothy to make a decision - just as Toonder discovers the importance of sharing "quality time" with loved ones, Dorothy decides to take Sophia away for the weekend to spend quality time with her. Blanche opts to go to Disney World. Once they're off, Blanche and Rose decide to become partners and write a children's book of the adventures of Toonder and his friends. Once at Disney World, Dorothy's idea of quality time becomes a nightmare for Sophia, who realizes that she's a captive in her own hotel room and is being forced to walk down memory lane. Dorothy has brought every piece of family nostalgia they have, and she intends to savor every item. When Sophia tries to make an escape for the park, she is thwarted by a sudden rainstorm. She ends up in the hotel bar, miserable. Meanwhile, Blanche and Rose's partnership crumbles when creative egos clash. They finally make up, only to discover that St. Olaf's greatest author, Hana Christian Lockerhueven, already wrote a book of Toonder's adventures. And at Disney World, Dorothy finds Sophia in the bar, where the two iron out the true meaning of "quality time," and Dorothy realizes that such moments can never be forced

143 "We're Going to Disney World (2)"

Full House
143. 6-23 11 May 93 The House Meets the Mouse (1)
Jesse and the Rippers are scheduled to do a show at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and in a few days Jesse and Becky will also be celebrating the 2nd anniversary of their wedding. That's why Jesse reserved a honeymoon suite for he and Becky in Orlando. Everyone heads to Orlando, minus Steve and Vicky, but Vicky is on her way to Orlando to be with the family. While everyone is doing their own thing at Disney World, D.J. misses Steve and starts "seeing" him everywhere. Kimmy, D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle find an "Aladdin" setup where they stand in line waiting to rub the "magic" lamp. The lucky boy or girl who makes the genie appear from the lamp will be crowned prince or princess for the day, and is granted three wishes. Michelle is standing in line behind Stephanie, who is furious when, after a brief argument over which one of them goes first, Michelle manipulates D.J. into letting Michelle go ahead of Stephanie. Michelle makes the genie rise from the lamp, and she is named princess for the day, and a crown is placed on her. Stephanie justifiably feels cheated. Michelle's first wish is that she be able to get on rides without waiting in long lines. Joey visits his friend Mark, who is an animator in the Disney World animation studio. After Vicky arrives, Danny tries to ask Vicky to marry him, but Danny keeps getting interrupted, and the interruptions continue to annoy him. Michelle starts letting her status as "Princess for the Day" go to her head, and she starts getting too bossy. Jesse and Joey are scheduled to do their radio show from an underwater pod in a huge aquarium that has a shark in it, so Jesse tells Becky to wait for him at the dock for a romantic cruise on the lagoon. D.J., Kimmy, and Stephanie become fed up with Michelle's bossiness, so Michelle wanders off.

144. 6-24 18 May 93 The House Meets the Mouse (2)

As everyone else is searching for Michelle, those who don't know she's missing are doing their own thing. Jesse and Joey do their radio show, and it turns out that Joey is deathly afraid of sharks, so he's reluctant to swim out of the pod with Jesse so they can get out of the aquarium. Later, Becky is waiting at the dock, and by this time, Jesse is 45 minutes late because of Joey's fear of sharks. Even while Michelle is having a tea party with all her favorite Disney characters (her second wish), she still wishes she hadn't wandered off, because now she misses her family. A few minutes later, Danny, Vicky, Kimmy, D.J., and Stephanie show up. Danny explains to Michelle that she shouldn't have wandered off by herself, and that it was wrong for her to be so bossy. Becky is fed up with waiting for Jesse so she heads back to the hotel. Jesse shows up at the dock, and Becky's not there. Jesse then goes to the hotel where he plays a song for Becky on the hotel's piano and apologizes to Becky for being late, and then they go on the lagoon cruise. While everyone else is enjoying Disney World's rides, Stephanie goes to the hotel where Joey and the twins are, because she's still furious at Michelle for cheating her out of a chance to become Princess for the Day. Steve shows up in Orlando to be with D.J., who is happy to see him. Joey talks to Stephanie. Joey understands that Stephanie feels cheated because of Michelle, but Stephanie cheated herself out of a lot of fun by staying at the hotel with Joey and the twins while everyone else was enjoying the rides. Michelle shows up, and feeling bad about cheating Stephanie, Michelle surprises Stephanie with her third wish. The wish is that Stephanie gets to be the princess for the rest of the day, and Michelle hands the crown over to Stephanie. Stephanie even gets to ride in a parade float that was originally reserved for Michelle while Michelle was princess for the day, and it's far from night time. Because of the unselfish thing Michelle just did, she and the rest of the family can ride in the parade with Stephanie, who obviously does have enough time left in the rest of this vacation to enjoy the rides, and Jesse's gig with the Rippers goes very well as Joey broadcasts it live to KFLH, as he was assigned to do. Danny finally asks Vicky to marry him, and this time, he's not interrupted, and Vicky accepts the proposal.

That's pretty cool. Anyway, i cna't think of any other shows besides those that were mentioned. I've never seen the Golden Girls episode (or the Cheers one if it exists). I kinda find it hard to believe that a show about a bar would tape down there, but stranger things have happened, I guess.

Is that for real? I've never heard of anything like that but would love to see it.

This isn't a sitcom but I was wondering if they showed WDW on NYPD blue. At the end of last season Sipowitz and his co-worker/girlfriend (can't remember her name) spent a few episodes planning a trip to WDW. I was really looking forward to seeing Dennis Franz look out of place and sullen in the happiest place on earth. Maybe I would get lucky and see him chase down a perp or something.

They probably didn't show it figuring fireworks over cinderellas castle wouldn't fit in with the whole concept of the gritty street drama. But I was really looking forward to it.

As long as I'm on a strange Disney TV post, did anybody else besides me watch that Hulk hogan TV series just to see which attraction they were using as a backdrop each week. I remember an episode where they were fighting middle eastern terrorists and it was in the morrocan pavillion at EPCOT, it was very funny.

The Hulk hogan thing was called "Blue Thunder" (I think) an hour long action/drama (late 80s). Think Magnum PI with fast boats instead of the helicopter. They never mentioned WDW but they (apparently) had a low budget for sets so they filmed scenes anywhere they could around the parks. The end of each episode everyone would be sitting around a beach talking about what a good job they did and the grand floridian would be right behind them.

With the NYPD Blue thing, I think they just talked about it because I never saw the actual trip so I was wondering if I missed an episode or they didn't show the trip at all. Given the tone of the show I can't imagine how they handeled it but I don't know for sure.

Even though they never talked about disney it still would be cool to see them using all the different places around walt disney world i'll have to see if they play reruns anywhere for that show. So thats the boat that in the mgm backlot then the big black boat.

I just looked it up there was a sitcom in 1984 called blue thunder but it doesnt look right , could there be another name for the show. The one in 1984 didnt have hulk hogan in it.
