Just starting to catch up on this thread…..

Those outfits are dreadful IMO. Not in any way flattering to any of the performers. What a shame.☹️
Shades of Glee in those outfits- which is a Disney property post-Fox. Yes, Disney has a monopoly on the major singing highschooler franchises...

I had to call in some favors to get this, but I'm happy this
a) exists
b) im getting this

God bless the EPCOT merchandise team.
Do you know of any plans for the M&G to get this sweater too? With there being zippers under the wings, it would seem like they designed the outfit to be changeable.

See, I asked around about that over the summer! I got no pointers on if thats the plan, but I wouldn't be shocked if one day he showed up in the winter jacket during this event.

Or became a streaker. I don't want that.

I agree it could be much better. BUT... almost all the gingerbread houses bigger than 2 feet tall are just gingerbread glued to wood or cardboard. Let me know when they're made of nothing but gingerbread, and I'll be impressed.

As for the whole ambience of the room: Still disappointingly sterile. Have they not heard of wall decorations?

Maybe more is to come. Or maybe it'll be like other holiday displays in which the budget allows them to add more year over year (like LwtL Christmas lights).
Thought maybe the first thing was a thrown-together anomaly.

Disappointing that dying mall food court is apparently the vibe they're actually going for in this location when this was allegedly designed to be versatile space. It really feels repurposed pretty much like what was in that spot before. It's a little less so than WOL but it shouldn't feel like that at all.

Hopefully, they'll do better some day.

I guess that's the bright side: With things this bare, they always have the option to improve in the future with relatively low effort but for all the delay in getting this project completed, they certainly have not come out with a bang in showing it off.

That's how I feel about the stages, too but just like how this could be improved with a better project/event budget, those could be improved just by putting better acts in them, too, so... maybe... someday.

What is odd is that festival decor was central to the concept art. They knew it needed to be there to complete all of the spaces within and around the gardens, but they've delivered on basically none of it. Everything has been ill-fitting, wrong-sized stuff shifted from other locations around the park.

Is this your thing, now? You're angry, and so you're just going to post mean stuff disparaging people both high-ups and ordinary workers?
Now? I’m not angry. I’ve been jaded since late September, 2005. Empty suits with bad ideas and “yes men” have that effect. Oddly, no one cared if I was “being mean” about $lappie. 🤔

For the record - I was not “being mean” towards the random WDI person being featured in a video. I was making fun of the video itself, and the reason it exists at all when it’s showing someone completely not doing what they actually do. But if you all like phony videos because it makes you feel “closer to WDI”, have fun.

Stop being so mean towards WDI. They’re doing their best!!!

What video? I thought you were upset that MVMCP sold out.

Happy that the Epcot Christmas loop has returned to the front of the park since it’s my favorite park Christmas loop. Pinar is great but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.

Cookie stroll gift this year is a mix to make your own cookies at home. Interesting choice.
I agree and was happy to see that the Christmas loop was playing this year.

Yes
It's pretty light attendance on day 2 of festival of the holidays. Nary a soul eating off of trashcans.
