They take down Halloween decorations and put up Christmas decorations the same night? I thought there was always a day or two between those things, but I could be wrong.

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

There's usually a yearly time lapse video Disney puts out to show that as they take down the Halloween deco, they're putting up Christmas all in the same night. If you got the cherry pickers and cranes out... might as well do it all in one night.
It takes a second day to switch out all the live plantings.
The rest of the parks and resorts follow over the course of the next week.

Studios and DAK often get their holiday decor installed earlier than MK, I would keep an eye out for that

11/8 and 11/11 makes a lot of sense selling out first. That's Veterans Day weekend. Veterans Day is Monday 11/11.

Some of the Christmas lights are already up in Dinoland. I would expect most of lights in Dinoland and lanterns in discovery island to be up by end of week.

Holiday Services usually gets a head start on Studios and DAK the last week of October, they’ll move on to MK after NSSHP, Epcot usually the week after, then they’ll move on to resorts

I believe so? Memory is fuzzy and I’m not in a spot to go check the moment.
Actually, DVC and AP’s should pay double for these, because they are freeloading scumbags who otherwise would bring their own food into the parks and camp out to take prime viewing spots away from day guests.
