Why do you need internet access at a theme park?

For the worthless MDE app that doesn't work half the time. Then they have slow internet too.....

I need wifi in the park mainly for the MDE app to check reservations, fast pass, queue times. If the wifi is too slow for the app or it doesn't work I will have to write down everything.

I use the wifi while waiting in lines that have a boring queue. Check Facebook, email, etc. If the wifi works then it works. If not, then I have a data plan. No big deal to me.

Thanks, my problem is I'm from England so would have to pay extra for a data plan to get the app to work on my phone. Thats why I'm asking if it wifi speed is fast enough.

I keep forgetting that people from outside the United States cannot use their data plan here.
