Glad to see they're a little more on top of things this time. I took them FOREVER to get a Moana meet and greet stood up after that movie was released.

Well they were not going to get SAG performers to promote it. Better start the synergy in the parks tenfold and as soon as possible.

Really great to see - nice to see more new characters coming to WDW (vs only DLR) and nice to see so soon and not years after the film is out. Use to help promote the film too

Hope Valentino the Goat becomes meetable alongside Asha. I remember it took two years for a meetable version of Olaf to exists. For a brief period, guests only got to meet Anna and Elsa with a small Olaf statue in between the two.

I wonder if this means they expect the movie to do really well or if WDW is finally getting their head out of their butts and actually promoting the movie in the parks properly instead of 5 years after.

The casting call would lead us to believe that it’s for a M&G. They typically don’t add new characters to a show or parade or something of that nature, before the movie comes out. It’s typically a M&G to promote the film.

Unless they do the “Celebration of Asha: A Century in the Making” and throw together a parade/stage show to promote the film.

Kinda like Elena’s Royal Welcome @ MK and the little parade she had at DCA

She’ll probably replace Ariel @ One Man’s Dream or will appear somewhere in MK

Ariel’s not going anywhere. Could be for Fant, some cavalcade, or even a one time appearance for the bloggers

Ariel’s M&G (at DHS) is most definitely not permanent. It’s not gonna be for Fant either. Maybe a cavalcade but a M&G is the most reasonable conclusion.

They’re saying the Asha casting call could be for Fant, cavalcade etc.

Like how they did for Mirabel and Raya.

I hope it is for a meet and greet, but with WDW they’ll try to skimp by as cheaply as possible. I could definitely see them doing a pre-parade or adding her to Adventure Friends only. This is the resort that was going to have Anna and Elsa out for 3 months and then be done with them.

We’re not talking Disneyland where new characters are added on a weekly basis.

I wonder if a meetable version of Valentino becomes a thing in the future? I remember when Frozen massive between 2014 and late 2016, Anna and Elsa were the only characters from the film that guests were able to meet. Olaf on the other hand was mostly represented as an audio animatronic figure at Disneyland's Fantasyland and a mini-figure between one of the meet and greets locations for the duo. It wouldn't take until the debut of the new Frozen castle lighting ceremony at MVMCP that Olaf would debut in person. Maybe Asha's goat companion might be given a similar approach soon.
