We always use a disney travel agent. I remember when we first started using the DTA, we got gifts from disney just for using that TA.
I received a beautiful, large photo album on 2 occasions, and I also got a large duffle bag made of sturdy material. There are other gifts but I can't remember them at this time (darn older memory!!!) It seemed like disney wanted your business back then.
My last "gift" was a cheap plastic holder for our flight/ticket papers. You can get these for a dollar at the local dollar store!
Apparently, they don't care about their guests anymore. It seems there is always someone to take your place, so.....

Years ago, I remember receiving a free waist pack when I checked in at my hotel, because I had used the American Express card. (Made me feel quite special! :joyfull: )

Anyone else remember the books you could get from the Travel Agents office that had the room and ticket prices laid out so nicely by the day for each resort?
I got a Disney package like that when I went to Disneyland for their 50th. I stayed at a Red Roof Inn on Disney Drive, I think it was. They were good neighbor locations so all reservations could be made via Disney. Since I don't plan as vigorously as they like, I get nothing from Disney except the tickets and connections to the sites needed for WDW.
