Walt Disney World Abbreviations

Sometimes when I read some of these posts I get confused as to what some of the abbreviations stand for.
I have been to Walt Disney World 8 times so I can generally figure most of them out. I couldn't help thinking that alot of the members here don't go often or may not have been to Walt Disney World at all yet.

Anyone brave enough to tackle the job of making a list of abbreviations and then spelling them out for those of us who aren't sure what they stand for?

Anyone confused about abbreviations could use this thread as a referance.

I'll do a few that I know:

H & V :Hollywood and Vine
TTA :Tomorrowland Transit Authority
TT :Test Track
CoP : Carousel of Progress

ok...that's all I know(Braincramp)...anyone care to add some more?:brick:

well, most of the abbreviations stand for rides, resorts, or just anything at WDW mainly...for the most part, people will say if it's a resort or ride or whatever in their posts, or in the topics and previous posts. but here are a quick few:

ToT - Tower of Terror
PotC- Pirates of the Caribbean
HM- Haunted Mansion
SE- Spaceship Earth
MS- Mission: Space (coming soon)
JIYI- Journey Into Your Imagination (formerly known as JII- Journey Into Imagination)
RnR- Rockin Rollercoaster
BTM- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (don't know if anyone's used this one, but it's a possibility)
JC- Jungle Cruise

as for resorts, the only one i can think of for now that's been abbreviated is CB, or Caribbean Beach...oh wait...there's also:
BW (Boardwalk)
WL (Wilderness Lodge)
AKL (Animal Kingdom Lodge)
but that's all i can remember that people has used of resorts.

of course, anyone and everyone's welcome to add more that i've forgotten or just haven't noticed!

I could add HDDR as Hoop Dee Do Revue (the show) and I would say WSC for Epcot´s World Showcase so it doesn´t get confused with WS used for the West Side of DD.

Also ITTBB for It´s tough to be a bug.

There are so many! We are the kings of abbreviations when it comes to type less and faster! haha :p
