I think a section of the outskirts of the city can be more park-oriented, with flowing waterways.

Like San Antonio...where you can have shops/restaurants along the water, with boats traveling around.

You can also have this be the place for your orange farm even further out, with an arboretum as well perhaps - maybe even the city zoo?

This way you keep all natural elements in one central location...now having trees around the city and greenery is also good, but people need to have easy access with transportation via peoplemover into work, monorail to airports, and automobiles to travel out of the city and into the greater florida area.

Another idea - have a river go 360 degrees around the main downtown hub and business area of the city. have the peoplemovers act as the gateways from the central hub...and boat transportation around the central hub so that you still keep that sense of river transportation.

Then you can have the river extend out towards an arboretum type area with parks, shops, etc.

This would actually be cool to add on either side of 192 in the city...

That or have the monorail track on top of a bunch of wind turbines...

Also imagining roads in the city being covered by green archways.... So they look less like roads, and it brings more "green" into the area.

I mean... Could you imagine driving though this everyday to work? Great way to get away from Florida Heat as well for cars...

I also found this.... which is awesome.

I really like the wind turbines on the monorail tracks - that's awesome!

The green around the roads can work well too - but I'd have them in a particular area, because you'd want to see the city skyline from driving right?
