I remember one idea we had was to have the city across the lake, (but a larger lake) so that you can see it in the background of Tomorrowland. (Kinda like you can with the contemporary)

That's a good idea.. Let's go with that one.

How big of a space do we have to work with involving the lake area?

How big/tall are we thinking the city is going to be though?

I like that idea I just wouldn't want it to tower over everything

That's a very good point, We don't wanna make it too tall. We can always make it tall enough that the opening in the tree line, or space behind space mountain can see it.. If that makes sense.

That's a good question about lake area. Do we want that lake to be the central lake hub, with City, Downtown, and Park and taxiways. Or other lakes for shopping and other items.

Make it the central hub.. And have waterways go around the whole resort.

Where's the city located?

Wherever we want it :p

I'd probably go near I-4 - but not too far away...you'd want it to be accessible to the main road.

Agreed!

I still have the old map/art from the original project if you want me to pull it up? :bookworm:

Anyone wanna build a basic "Map" of where things will go roughly?

I can do that :D:cool:

Apparently your filling in "england's food pictures" void on the forums :p

Yum. :hungry:

I think the lake would work better as a hub.. Although I4 is better for accessibility... I'm split. o_O
One of the original ideas, that I followed through with my Australian design was to force almost all Visitors to park at a "visitor Center" and have then ride the mass transit to their hotel, park, destination. The only ppl who can drive to the City would be those living there.

What if the visitor center was by the highway, near the airport...and then the actual city was up by the lake?

Best of both worlds?
