Walt Disney Legacy Collection

I was just wondering if anyone knew if this line of DVDs would ever see another release or not. I saw a press release about the new wave of the Treasures line and have yet to hear anything new on the Legacy Collection since True Life Adventures came out. Destino isn't going to be released on the Treasure line now so I was wondering if they would release it on the Legacy line.

I remember reading that this series did not sell well, so it was cancelled. The Disneyland Secrets and Oswald DVD's that were originally planned for the Legacy Collection ended up on the last wave of Treasures. I haven't read anything about the fate of Destino.

It's a shame about the True-Life series not selling well. As a kid in elementary school, I remember looking forward to when our teachers would play them for us on the old film projectors, back before the days of Blu-Ray, DVD or even VCR.

The True-Life series was not marketed well. They are truly landmark pictures, also. Animal Planet and other modern animal media really owe it a debt of gratitude.

I highly recommend it.

And the series packaging was cool.
