N. HOLLYWOOD, CA & BASKING RIDGE, NJ (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) and AT&T Corp. today announced an agreement under which WDIG will license select online content on a non-exclusive basis to AT&T Corp. for re-distribution via the AT&T Worldnet Service homepage.

As part of this agreement, a variety of WDIG content offerings, including articles, graphics, sports scores & schedules, and games from Disney.com, FamilyFun.com, and ESPN.com will be available to AT&T WorldNet subscribers. Content from ABCNEWS.com, including full text news articles, video excerpts, and audio news is already offered on the AT&T Worldnet site as part of a deal finalized in June of this year.

"This relationship supports our commitment to offering Disney.com, ABCNEWS.com and ESPN.com content across a variety of distribution media outlets and platforms," said Larry Shapiro, executive vice president, business development and operations, Walt Disney Internet Group. "By aligning ourselves with a leader like AT&T, we expand our audience and offer AT&T subscribers immediate access to additional world-class content."

"Disney's premium content brings AT&T Worldnet Service subscribers of all ages information and content that is relevant, fun and timely. This is another example of our ongoing commitment to bring best-in-class content and features to AT&T's consumer internet service that meet our members needs, and entice those who haven't yet tried the service, a reason to take us for a spin," said Jim Davey, vice president of Partnership Marketing and Site Services for AT&T Worldnet Service.
