Actually keeping their salary is the least they can do - your response is exactly why I advise my clients never to do these "good optic" gestures.

It is a figure of speech, not literal.

Now who is being snarky? I was just making an observation that in trying times like these, esp for WDW employees, taking a pay cut was the least they could do. In other words, they could do more. Sorry.

I never buy into this when people at the top do this. They will earn so much money on the backend that probably is more than the true salary.
