That BuyNLarge thread that Jimbo started was a link to a DISNEY site.

BuyNLarge is the fictional company that produced the robots. It is part of the marketing campaign for the film

I was trying to respond to the thread to let you guys know that when the thread got deleted.

Just an FYI incase you see it again.

You're welcome Jimbo...:animwink:

He should have stated that more clearly and I was trying to add that to the thread, but it got deleted while I was trying to post it.

i agree with you.

It was there because of all the rumors about a Wall*E attraction. People could see more info about the concept by going to that site.

Exactly. Inside "jokes" are not very funny to "outsiders."

Totally agree, I realized what he was doing and that it was confusing people.

It comes from some experience stage managing at Disney and having CMs in my shows ad lib stuff they thought was hilarious because it was an inside joke and I would have to go talk to them...

Sorry, I wasn't going to let it ride for more than a few minutes. Guess lesson learned. If it's not in Hiku format...it confuses the masses...

I'll try not to be so Disnerdy next time. I did give fair warning, a simple IM would have been nice. I don't ever have much of substance to contribute. I'll stop the creative means from now on.

Actually you do have some good contributions, I like a lot of your posts, it was just a little too subtle on that one.

A ha... well this is the new way of marketing films and shows now... guess we all have to get a bit sharper apparently. :)

Oh and snapped this yesterday at the Animation Tour...
I got a little jazzed seeing it up on the "NOW IN PRODUCTION" wall.

Making someone feel welcome is never a cliche or a sellout, so no worries there!

Sure it is, that's why I was WAY to cool to go to pep rallies in high school. Oh, and lord forgive the person that owns a t-shirt for the University that they have their parents pay tens of thousands of dollars to go to. And that company logo coffee mug --- you know that same logo that pays for you to have food for your family -- forget using that cup man.

When does that pent up post-post-post teenage angst go away anyways?

Thanks.... :o

Didja see my smiley eat it's own puke!!!!
