They used to have that on the maps in the passporter. I'll dig an old one out and see what I find.Does anyone know if there ae any resources out there that tell you how far it is from certain point to points at Disney? Like how far from EPCOT entrance to Italy. Or how far from MK entrance to Haunted Mansion. Things like that.
Any tips on how to do that, I'm fiddling around in the maps now but can't figure out how tondo what you said. The easiest way it to get that info it to use the draw a path feature in Bing maps.
Sorry. It's not the distance. It's the time to walk from one place to the other.Does anyone know if there ae any resources out there that tell you how far it is from certain point to points at Disney? For some reason the first post doesn't show. It said that I thought passporter had that. It didn't. It has the walk time from one place to the next.Sorry. It's not the distance. It's the time to walk from one place to the other.
Yeah, I'd read somewhere, I think in the Unofficial Guide, that it takes about a half hour at a brisk pace to go from entrance to the back of WS at EPCOT.Sorry. It's not the distance. It's the time to walk from one place to the other.
Passporter shows going to the left at about 20, and if you go to the right at 23+ if it's not crowded.I know it's less than that I've done it in about 20 minutes! NO crowds!!!!
Good link. This actually works, though the scrolling and zooming of the maps is not as smooth as other map resources. It said that from the EPCOT mono station to the Italy pavilion is about 0.77 miles around the lagoon. Only about 0.62 as the crow flies. While I haven't used it for WDW, I use it to map the distance of all of my walking routes since I've found my pedometer apps to be less reliable. Soooo, this might work...

Just checked. Turning left towards Mexico, the total distance ends up being about 0.77 miles. Going right towards Canada makes the total distance to Italy to be about 0.95 miles.Passporter shows going to the left at about 20, and if you go to the right at 23+ if it's not crowded.
I use Gmap Pedometer.

(Probably easier to use if you switch it to Manual)

Since I'm going to be by myself in December, I know I could cover that distance in less than 15 minutes. Italy for dinner is exactly what I'm thinking of. Maybe park hopping into EPCOT one night for an Italy dinner...."Yeah, I'd read somewhere, I think in the Unofficial Guide, that it takes about a half hour at a brisk pace to go from entrance to the back of WS at EPCOT."
Not even close -- if its absolutely packed and you walk at a steady "family pace" it takes 20 minutes. If you walk at a brisk pace and just walk directly there without dawdling, it takes 12 minutes. I've done it often to get to dinner back in France or Italy
I'm going the second week of December, so heat shouldn't be an issue.I'd figure 20-25 minutes to Italy after you have gone through the turnstile and are in the park. You'd go to the left when entering the World Showacse (toward Mexico). It also depends on how hot and crowded it is.
I know I can walk the entire WS loop and half again in less time than it takes to run illuminations, if that helps any. I go at a normal pace - not hurrying, but not going slowly, either.
