Does anyone know if there ae any resources out there that tell you how far it is from certain point to points at Disney? Like how far from EPCOT entrance to Italy. Or how far from MK entrance to Haunted Mansion. Things like that.

Sorry. It's not the distance. It's the time to walk from one place to the other.

While I haven't used it for WDW, I use it to map the distance of all of my walking routes since I've found my pedometer apps to be less reliable. Soooo, this might work...

Good link. This actually works, though the scrolling and zooming of the maps is not as smooth as other map resources. It said that from the EPCOT mono station to the Italy pavilion is about 0.77 miles around the lagoon. Only about 0.62 as the crow flies.
I'll make use of this site.

..."Yeah, I'd read somewhere, I think in the Unofficial Guide, that it takes about a half hour at a brisk pace to go from entrance to the back of WS at EPCOT."

Not even close -- if its absolutely packed and you walk at a steady "family pace" it takes 20 minutes. If you walk at a brisk pace and just walk directly there without dawdling, it takes 12 minutes. I've done it often to get to dinner back in France or Italy

Since I'm going to be by myself in December, I know I could cover that distance in less than 15 minutes. Italy for dinner is exactly what I'm thinking of. Maybe park hopping into EPCOT one night for an Italy dinner.

I'd figure 20-25 minutes to Italy after you have gone through the turnstile and are in the park. You'd go to the left when entering the World Showacse (toward Mexico). It also depends on how hot and crowded it is.

I know I can walk the entire WS loop and half again in less time than it takes to run illuminations, if that helps any. I go at a normal pace - not hurrying, but not going slowly, either.

I'm going the second week of December, so heat shouldn't be an issue.
I worked it out on a couple of those mapping sites. Taking the loop towards Mexico instead of turning right cuts almost two tents of a mile off of the total distance.
