Walking between Resorts

I learned early on that if there's no sidewalk, you're not supposed to walk it.
Disney security picked me up on the side of the road as I was making the short walk from Port Orleans French Quarter back to my resort of Old Key West.
Fortunately he was very friendly, and gave me a ride the rest of the way.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but can you walk from the Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian resort? Or is the Contemporary the only resort with walking access to the Magic Kingdom?

There is actually a sidewalk that runs from the All Stars all the way to Coronado. Blizzard Beach would fall along that route as well.

So, does this mean that it would be possible to walk from CSR to Winter Summerland? I thought I saw a path on Google Maps/Street View but I wanted to be sure as I don't want to get into trouble.

We have walked from GF to TTC. Nearly getting ran over at least once by an un-attentive driver. We even got an invite into the wedding area, because they had no weddings going on and wanted to show the place. It was kinda nice to walk, but with so much walking in general we really rode some form of transportation when we could. That day, we left MK took a boat to GF. Checked out and ate at the GF, found no connecting route back to ASMov, so walked to Poly, shopped, hit the wedding chapel or vise versa now Im forgetting. Went to TTC and got a bus back to ASMo. I know some people who find better buses to nearby resort and walk to theirs. We were at DS not finding any busses coming, so we found a boat to the Saragossa and found a bus going to DHS, got off and a bus going to AS as soon as we got off, so some times it can be a fun adventure taking different options that require a little bit of wakling.
