Walk to Toontown or take Train?

A thought...

Take the monorail or ferry.. her choice.

Stop at the end of Mainstreet at the ice cream shop or bakery. Let her either get a Mickey Ice cream cone (a scoop with two cookies) or something to munch on from the bakery for brreakfast. Cuz, it's Disney and kids are allowed sugar for breakfast ;)

Then, make a sharp right by the ice cream shop. (World's best shortcut)

Wander up the plaza to Tomarrowland, past the hoards, and then right on into Toon Town.

After you finish there, you can either take the train anywhere you want, or head right to Fantasyland or Tomarrowland.

Another tip: Take the rosegarden path instead of the main drag up from Mainstreet to the castle. It's on the right hand side and is sort of a longer walk, but much less crowded and more pleasent if the park is getting busy.

Cinderella's Surprise Celebration is at 10:30am and 11:30am as well, so you could do that right after Toon Town.

Check the Times Guide :)

Each of my kids made his first trip to WDW at age 5.

They were so excited they had no trouble walking all day.

On about Day 4, when the cumulative effects of things Disney caught up to them, they slowed down a bit.

This would have been OK, but we were at Japan in Epcot when it happened. Is is possible to be any further from the exit????

Remember swim breaks--my kids thought the beach at CBR was the highlight of the trip.
