Walt Disney's grandson is not in the happiest place on Earth right now -- he's stewing in a jail cell after being busted for gun possession.

TMZ has learned the LAPD arrested Patrick Disney Miller early Wednesday morning at his home in the San Fernando Valley.

Cops tell us he was booked for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon or addict, and for owning ammunition.

Patrick is the youngest son of Diane Disney Miller.

So far no one's anted up his $70,000 bail.

When I saw the words youngest son I thought perhaps he was in his late 20's to late 30's and was going to say something along the lines that perhaps he felt like he was living in the pressure cooker that comes with being from a well known family. But, I did some googling and as it turns out their youngest son is at least 41 years old if not 42, obviously depends upon when he was born, and I'm sorry but at that age you should be able to have your life a little more put together shall we say.... If this is something that is an ongoing issue for this man, and I would assume it is being that he is a felon, a family with the financial means such as those that Diane Disney-Miller has should of sought treatment for their child a very long time ago.

I can understand blaming the parents when their child is a teenager... But at 40+ I think it's safely not on their shoulders.

I didn't say relatives, I said descendants.

But Roy seems to be the only one of the Disney blood line who's really ever gotten involved with the company.

Walt Disney's Grandson Arrested for Gun Possession

LOS ANGELES -- Walt Disney's grandson has been arrested on suspicion of illegal gun possession, according to Los Angeles police.

Patrick Disney Miller, 42, was taken into custody about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday after police served a search warrant at his home in Woodland Hills, said Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations unit.

Miller was booked for "possession of a firearm by a felon" and selling ammunition, Herrera said.

According to the sheriff's department, Miller was released late Wednesday night on $70,000 bail.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 31 in Van Nuys.

Information on Miller's felony background was not immediately known.

Miller's mother, Diane Disney Miller, is the eldest daughter of Walt Disney. She and her husband, Ronald William Miller, have seven children with Patrick being the youngest.
