Wait Time Cards?

I just figured that when the line ends at a certain place, the wait was usually "x" amount of minutes. I guess that is not always the case.
That is still the case most of the flik card data is sent to management who call in the updated times. The wait time is still pretty much gathered from how long the line is. (or at least that is how it is done in Fantasyland)

I want to work for Disney when I retire. I wonder if they have a program for older folks who want to spread a little magic?

Yea, I know that PKI has wait times listed from certain points in the lines. Hard to beleive that when the Beast first opened, it was common for the wait to be 2 to 3 hours. Now, most of those Q-lines have been removed. Max wait is approx. 1 1/2 hours.

As for Spreading the Magic, make sure your Depends are on tight. I don't want any of that getting on me.

Figuring that by the time we are able to retire, we will be in our late 70's.

I got one of these at Space Mountain about a year ago. It even had a lanyard around it so we didnt have to hold it! We joked to the CM that we should get something out of doing this, and he gave us a slip of paper that was equivalent to a fast pass for two people.

I really don't like the FLIK card system that much and let me tell ya why!

When the park is packed and the wait is out the door at the mountain the wait time WILL go down say when the fireworks or the parade is going on. So here comes and goes the parade and maybe 40 minutes later the wait time may drop 30-50 minutes. Now you got all these guest that are upset because the wait time was wrong!

And even better sometimes it won't change at all.

I wish they would give cast members the ablility to still manually change it but from what I have seen of the system in the computers. Not only could you change the one at your attraction but you can change it for all the rides at all the parks that are using the electronic system

So yeah that is my 2 cents

I am a FLIK magnet

I must have a sign on my forehead, because everytime I go (which is often) I get at least 2 of these cards... I don't mind it... I feel like I'm doing my part in keeping people happy. This past summer, we got 2 extra rides of ToT for carrying that little card. But I did make a teeny oops this past MLK weekend when I was there with my little brother... We were in line at Primeval Whirl and I, of course, get handed a FLIK card. So, I take it, and we wait... and wait... and wait... I decide to get a FAstPass and head to Tarzan, so I leave the line... About halfway through the Tarzan show, I realize I have this white card hanging around my neck. So, now I have my very own personal FLIK card... I hope I didn't get the CM in trouble.
