It's not looking good for me. Everytime I do one of these things, my entries are seemingly ignored. I think some of the problem lies in the fact when my wallpaper is resized to a thumbnail, alot of detail I put in drawing is lost. I suspect many people do not look at the original thread with the full size pic before casting a vote. I try to make my wallpapers more different than the other entries. It is clear to me now that the best way to get votes is to sorta follow what the rest of the crowd is doing. I guess I am just trying to make myself feel better about never getting a single vote other than my own. Perhaps I am inefficient with my artistic methods because it takes me so long to work on these. Either that or I truly suck. :hurl: Well I am not sure if I will ever bother making another wallpaper. Guess I am out unless someone can convince me it is worth the effort. I do not want any sympathy votes either. I'm being a sore looser, I know. Just in a crabby mood right now.

Please dont take the fact that you dont get more than 1 vote as an "insult" or a sign of "lack of talent"..I personally LOVE your entry (and admire that you hand drew it)..but you have to understand that the basis for the voting is people have to choose the one they feel is "best for them"..from a wallpaper standpoint. (although sadly some of the people voting seem to look at it as a popularity contest).

I urge you to NOT give up...its always good to tap into ones creative side and show others what you can do...and the fact that you do it all by hand is a pure sign that you are dedicated to what you do. So keep it up! and remember...MOST people dont vote until the last minute...so you never know how many more #s you will pull in
