I appreciate anyone who had a knowledge and thirst for Disney history and content. Adam The Woo and World Of Micah just put out a video a few days ago where they went to the public library in downtown Orlando and found all of these old newspapers, magazine articles, etc., from Walt Disney World’s grand opening. It was fascinating. It’s a whole lot different than the folks who barely know anything about the company but show up in the parks everyday to vlog the newest candy apple or whatever the hell.

Yes!!!! IMO far to many vloggers just report news they stole from here and shove food in their faces or exploit there kids for clicks... The vlog you mentioned is actually informative and casts some positive light on Centra Florida and doesn't come off as a plea for media credential.

For those who get irate at the existence of Disney vloggers, you do have the ability to not watch them. I for instance would never dream of watching somebody vlogging about bringing up kids or knitting, so I don't watch those type of videos hence it not bothering me. It takes little to no effort for me to not watch those videos, in fact it takes more effort finding them and watching them than not? The successful people on youtube like it or not, are successful because there's a market for what they're selling. The way they sell it whether you approve of it or not, is done in a way people like if they make decent money from it. The opportunity was/is there for anyone else to do it themselves if they want to try and think it's so easy. If you don't want to do it yourself then why get bent out of shape about others doing it? I get the super chat options can be taking advantage of perhaps 'vulnerable' people who are desperate for 'friendship', but I don't think the vloggers are deliberately targeting those folks either and that's just an unfortunate by product if it happens.

I do enjoy watching

There's others too but those probably get my attention much more than the others.

The key is to emphasize THE SUBJECT and not THE BLOGGER.

I think it's a combination though. The Trackers still seem very popular even though their content has changed greatly since 'Buddyyyyyyyyyy' came along. 4K WDW is fairly popular despite there being no commentary ever. I think for a hugely successful vlogger to become very wealthy through youtube alone, there usually requires a mix of topic and personality.

I do agree in general, but I actually love the Hayes Family Vlog (DLR oriented) because of the family. Their daughter has alopecia, and our daughter (who is struggling with feeling different due to a disability) has really connected with the positivity, self-love and awareness messaging they share.

I have no doubt there are those who see it as exploiting their kid, but it’s a #representationmatters moment for my kid. She sees a child around her age, who also has something that makes her inherently different, and sees Malia’s confidence, spunk and joy in the character interactions - it really helped DD a lot especially through quarantine / lockdown.
