Visitors for Resort Guests

I may have asked this several months ago but am not sure.

My family and I check in at Port Orleans Riverside two weeks from today (finally almost here). We are driving down from Pennsylvania and my parents live in Tampa. They want to drive up to spend one day at Magic Kingdom with us. Can they park at the resort and ride over to the park with us in the bus??

Three years ago we did this at the same hotel. My dad drove up and parked at the resort, we bought him a one-day pass at the hotel's guest relations and he rode the bus with us to the park. I am just not sure if any post Sept 11 security measures would stop us from doing this with this upcoming visit.

Just make sure your visitor is announced at the Front Desk prior to their arrival bc the security checks a list before they will let him into the resort. I did this in Jan. 2002 at the Wilderness Lodge with friends that came from Naples and everything went smoothly.

Yep, we did the same thing when our daughter and her boyfriend visited us at Port Orleans! It was no problem at all.:animwink:
