You don't know the half of it. I've been told by a few ex girlfriends that I have a Peter Pan complex. To this day my mom tells me when am I going to stop acting like a kid when it comes to Disney. During my 20s she was losing her mind because I wouldn't "settle down." I never had any desire to get married. She kept asking me when I was going to grow up. As if growing up has anything to do with getting married. My parents are just so old fashioned that they should have been born 30-40 years earlier (they're in their early 70's). I'm in my mid 30's and I am married now. I tell her she should be relieved that I'm married because it was never in my plans. She doesn't understand why I waste some of my money on collecting some of the toys I used to play with as a child. I have a few Transformers from when I was a kid that I purchased and I have them displayed. It's a part of my youth. I have never understood this idea that you have to grow up and be miserable once you're an adult. I work hard all week running my busy. Once I leave the office I can do as I please.
Go be a kid when you're done. Too many people can't. :)

Heading for the great escape.
A big part of the difference has to be airfare no?

There are many factors, thats why I book as an independent traveller and look to save by using providers here and in the US. Ive used APs to get discounts and the 21 day ticket didnt exist a few years ago. We have been annual visitors since 98 until 2 years ago when the lack of new attractions encouraged us to try the other coast and parts of the US that we now enjoy as much if not more than WDW.

I would have thought this would be higher depending on whether you include locals / AP's / CM's etc. In fact now I've just typed that, add in the DVC people as well, most of them come less than 2 years apart (probably).
I live locally and had the impression that the above counted for quite a large percentage of visitors.

I agree repeat visitors is probably much higher. One reason I think this is because of the bounceback offers. I dont think they would offer every time I go if it were not reasonably popular. I know about half a dozen families that go every year or two too.
