Visiting WDW the week of New Years

We are taking a trip next week to WDW and are going to get Annual Passes. We are thinking of a return trip the week after Christmas (New Years Week). Any thoughts or advice for visiting the week of New Years?

Don't plan on hopping too much that week.

This year MK got closed 3 times that week. Epcot once.

Pick your park you want to do, get there early, and stay there especially on NY Eve.
