Visa rewards card rules?

Does anyone know the rules or where I can find the rules of what discounts we get for using the Chase Disney Visa? I just got back from our Disney trip and it was very inconsistent and no one could explain why I got it sometimes and not others. I thought we got 10% for $50 of purchases - but one time we bought a book for $12 and the girl gave me 10% off, another time we spent close to $100 and got nothing off because of what we bought. I'm just never sure what to expect and if it's right or wrong because the cast member doesn't know. Thanks

I find it to be inconsistent too, as a result of Visa having changed the policies. A CM in DTD gave me a discount this past May when I didn't think it applied, and she starting giving me lists of where the discounts applied & how much off they were. They were totally different than what I had experienced in other stores. I guess it's always worth it to ask if it's not listed.

Thanks, I was hoping someone had more details on what the "select" locations and "select" merchandise referred to - not much detail on the website unless I'm missing it.

Really the only way to find out if it applies or not is to ask the cashier right then and there. I looked everywhere for something in writing ahead of time, asked at the kiosk at DTD and at guest relations DTD and found different answers every time. I just asked each time since that is the person that would be applying the discount or not anyway.

I think you have to spend at least $50, and I know it is at the Disney Store. There are places on Main Street. I purchased something at the Jewlery Store on Main Street, and they wanted me to spend more to get the discount, but there really wasn't anything else I wanted.
