Virgin passengers 04 - 06

Has anyone else who flew with Virgin between 04 and 06 been contacted about a class action claim for fuel surcharges?

Just wondered if it was a scam?

Yeah I received the e-mail and so did all of my family that always travel with me. Looks like Virgin have passed info of potential passengers who can claim and assume Virgin had my e-mail as a virgin frequent flyer.

Looks legit to me!

Hi,

Due to a ruling by US and UK authorities over BA and Virgins price fixing of fuel surcharges, the two companies are being forced to repay partial refunds of the charges to customers who flew with them during this period.

In terms of whether or not your email was a scam I do not know but there is an official website for UK customers and it should point you in the right direction.

if those that haven't had a mail on this did you book actually through virgin or another co and you just had virgin flights - i know we aren't eligible as we used jetsave....

Only long-haul flights qualify for this settlement! This does include all Virgin Atlantic flights, but it does not include Domestic or European services on British Airways. There is a listing on the settlement website that tells you what BA flights qualify. If you didn't get anything from VS or BA, but think that you qualify based on listed criteria, go ahead and apply anyway!

Ah, but when did you buy your ticket? If it was on or before March 23, 2006, then you can still make a claim.
